was that it be designed specifically for the mid-Canterbury environment and community.Our vision draws on a wide range of local experience, benchmarked against national and international expertise, with the support of a progressive local Council. People are the most important consideration in crafting a future for Ashburton – a future that is represented by the generations who will grow up, live and work here. People also sit at the centre of our vision for Eastfield Precinct. We want our community to have a sense of ownership of this space – to make it part of their everyday lives, and be proud to bring friends and visitors here to showcase what Ashburton is all about.
